Bella Epstein remembered that her family purchased a Zenith television on Orchard Street and had neighbors such as the Italian-American Di Benedetto family over to watch shows. Bella said, "you couldn’t put it on on Shabbos," and recalled that her father loved watching Killer Kowalski.
