Tortilla Maker

Partner:

My object is a tortilla maker that my mom uses  to make tortillas in our home. It is important to her and our family because it reminds us of home in Mexico.
Tortillas are fresh and healthy. The tortilla maker is made from wood and its color is yellow. It reminds me of my mom and my culture.
My mom uses the following ingredients to make a tortilla: flour, water and salt. You mix all of the ingredients together. Then you cut up the dough into 15 equal size balls. You then heat up the tortilla maker and place the dough inside the tortilla maker and close the cover for about about 3 seconds.  Then you put inside the pan to cook for 30 seconds. You will have fresh tortillas in no time!
The tortilla maker is important to my family because sometimes we eat tortillas as a family. Family and my culture are very important to us.
