The Ring
My object is a ring, my grandmother had given me. It is special because she gave it to me to keep when I left Pakistan to come to America. It is a very valuable possession to me, and I plan on keeping it safely. My grandmother gave it to wear it everyday without fail so I will remember my family back home. The ring is silver and has black elephant prints all around it. It feels smooth on my fingers. I am happy I have it. This ring has many memories that I cherish of Pakistan. When I was leaving, my grandmother gave it to me with a big hug and a sad smile on her face. I know I was going to miss her and so was she when I leave. Until I joined my family here, my grandmother kept me safe and warm back home. She made sure I was happy and well fed. She wished me luck and gave me this ring. I will never forget her as long as I have the ring on my finger.
