Narde
My name is Diyorbek Rahmonov. I’m from Uzbekistan. My family came over to America in 2010. We came here for jobs, money, and education. My object is a wooden [99.8%] game board called Narde. It is very popular, people play it in the Iranian plateau and caucasus region especially Azerbaijan, Iran, Armenia, Georgia, Russia and Uzbekistan. There are 15 black checkers [one player] and 15 white checkers [Other player] and Two dice to know where you can go [Controls where your checkers go]. My version of Narde has a building from Registon on the inside. You can also play checkers on the outside. I chose this object because it is very popular in Uzbekistan especially for men. When we have a picnic or barbeque,my dad and I (sometimes my brother) play this (sometimes when we are bored).
