My Malayalam Buble
My Malayalam Bible is special to me because it was given to my mother from my grandmother. Malayalam is a language in the southern part of India, where my grandmother lives It is a very old Bible. The cover is made of hard, brown leather with writing in Malayalam. It has flowers also. The pages are very old and tea stained. The Bible tells a lot about my family and me: we are Indian, we speak Malayalam and we are Christian. It reminds me of where I was born, lived and my culture. Also I love the Bible because of how special it is to my family. It is used for any Christian celebrations such as Christmas, Easter, Good Friday, and other celebrations. The Bible is pretty heavy because of the paper’s that have fallen out and replaced added paper. I don’t know how old it is but it is definitely older than me! And that is why my Malayalam Bible is important to me it tells about me my family who we are where we are from.
