Jubba from Bangladesh

My immigration object is from Bangladesh.  It is a long shirt with long sleeves.  The color is not exactly white, but slightly yellow.  You can say it is the color of egg shells.  The jubba has beautiful stitches on the front that makes it very special.
When I first asked my parents for an object from my country I wasn’t sure what they will give me. I was very proud of the jubba and heard what they said about it.  The jubba was bought for me by my father.  He actually got it from a tailor in Bangladesh.  The tailor sells these jubbas and has jubbas in almost all sizes that will suit most of the people who go to him.  Otherwise he takes their measurements and stitches one that will fit those whose sizes he doesn’t have in his store.  I thought this piece of information was very interesting.
When I first got this object, my parents wanted me to wear it.  So I quickly took it to my room and wore it.  I looked at myself and thought, “Wow, I look great!” I felt proud of my culture.  When I came out my family said so many wonderful things about the way I looked.  I am so glad I had this opportunity to understand my culture and tradition.
I learned that in my culture, the jubba is worn during special occasions.  My uncle, mentioned that the people choose the materials at the tailor and give the tailor special instructions to make sure the jubba is made to suit needs and taste of the customers.
