Flag of Honduras
My object that I chose to write about has always been in my living room. I didn’t know very much about it, until our class started doing the immigration study. I asked my mom for something that represents my country. My mom told me that the flag was the only thing that she had that I could bring to the class for show and tell. She went on to say that it was a flag from Honduras.
We use this flag for celebrations and festivals in Honduras. This study has helped me to learn more about my country. Before we did this study I looked at the flag like if it had no meaning. So this study really helped me to learn more about country.
One Christmas I got this flag. I got it from my Aunt because she wanted me to remember my country and my culture like the food we eat in Honduras.
This object is important to me and my family because we need to remember our country and where we came from. Also my flag is made from cotton. This is why this object is important to my country.
