A Unique Special Shell
My object is a shell. This shell is very important to me because it is from one of my favorite places: Captiva, Florida. My family loves to go to the beach. We go to lots of different beaches, but one of my favorites is Captiva, Florida. We just went there this July from the fifteenth to the twenty second. For the week we were there I stayed with my grandparents, cousins, aunt and uncle and my parents and brother.
Every day we went to the beach. One of the days we went to the beach my cousin Jamison and I went shell hunting. He found a beautiful shell that was white, tan, brown and a tint of black. It was twisty, smooth and rough. When we found it it had a snail in it so my aunt had to boil it out. After she boiled it out it smelled salty and fishy.
Then the next two days my cousin found four more. But someone stole the fourth one. The reason this shell is special to me is because my cousin gave me one out of the three shells! So every time I look at the shell I think of the wonderful time I had on my trip.
